As an integral part of the Superfund Basic Research Program at the University of Florida, we hold educational/informational events throughout the year opened to scientists, researchers, fieldworkers, and the concerned citizen.

We host an annual seminar series in Toxicology and Environmental Health, which runs September through March, and an annual symposium in the spring, with a varying topic in the field of environmental toxicology.

The Superfund program also co-sponsors a workshop with the Center for Environmental & Human Toxicology on Probabilistic Risk Assessment . The next workshop is scheduled for November 3 -4, 2004 and addresses the challenges of conducting and iterpreting studies of potential toxic effects of nanoscale materials. The workshop is entitled Developing Experimental Approaches for Evaluation of Toxicological Ineractions of Nanoscale Materials .
